Roller Derby Background
I started skating in 2010 with Pueblo Derby Devil Dolls where I learned not only how to play roller derby but how to skate! After 2 years there I transferred to Denver Roller Derby where I played for the next 2 years on the Electrocuties and the Orange Crusher’s. I then tooka some time off for a 9 month injury…. Shortly after the birth of my youngest daughter, in 2014, I returned to roller derby joining the FoCo Roller Derby League.

What drew you to roller derby?
My son wanted to learn how to skate. One day my sister, The Outlaw & I took him to skate lessons at the local roller rink. When we got there we ran in to some derby girls who told us about the sport. We showed up to practice and fell in love. The rest is history!
Roller Derby Role Model
I don’t get starry eyed over the top players. I think derby girls are all just derby girls! So I would have to say my sister, The Outlaw, is my role model. She is the most dedicated derby girl I know! She pushes me at practice and gives me constructive criticism. She comes to my games and is my biggest fan. Without her I probably wouldn’t have started playing derby!!
